Made in France: IPM France’s commitment for Quality and Responsibility

Made in France is embedded in our DNA and our interactive kiosks
“Made in France” in IPM France’s DNA

In the same way as responsibility and positive impact, "Made in France" is embedded in IPM France’s DNA, supported by CSR initiatives and certifications. IPM France’s interactive kiosks are made in France on our production site based in Romans-sur-Isère, drawing on wholly French expertise.

French industrial expertise

IPM France offers products and services designed and developed in France, showcasing the expertise of its 40-strong team with a variety of skills: Research & Development, Supply Chain, Production, CSR, Innovation, Customer Support, Business Engineering, Sales, Marketing, HR and Finance.

Our Research & Development department, which comprises the Hardware and Software divisions, oversees the design of our kiosks from A to Z: mechanics, electronics, software and industrial roll-out.

For its supply management duties, our Supply Chain department gives precedence to suppliers based in France. By aligning our supply chain with the "IPM France Sustainable Procurement Charter", we guarantee quality, short supply chains and responsibility, which are key components of our CSR policy.

3 operators and a Shop Foreman work at our only production workshop, which is located in Romans-sur-Isère in South-East France. Local manufacture lowers the carbon footprint associated with transport and supports the regional economy, in keeping with our CSR targets.

A Made in France approach to support our CSR commitments

IPM France is committed to a reliable and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility policy, organised around 4 founding principles: Design solutions that promote inclusion; Embed eco-design in all our processes; Promote diversity within our organisation; Anchor Sustainable IT in our corporate culture.

To promote eco-design, the life cycles of IPM France products are virtuous and grounded in 4 stages:

  • Design: choice of components and materials, modular and scalable design, obsolescence management and durability, sustainable procurement in France, design in France, EMC safety, components, packaging.
  • Transport: delivery and installation on-site. By making our products in France, we can minimise our environmental impact by lowering the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the transport of goods over long distances.
  • Use: energy consumption, digital inclusion, reparability with Customer Service and Customer Support departments.
  • End-of-life: refurbishment, recovery of third-party equipment, CE standards, RoHS, WEEE. To continue improving the impact of our products and services, IPM France is committed to an eco-design approach through a comprehensive analysis conducted by Bpifrance.

Certifications and accreditations for quality and reliability

As a sign of the quality and reliability of its products and processes, IPM France is ISO 9001 certified. This international certification guarantees that the company has implemented a rigorous quality management system, aimed at continuously improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

In addition, IPM France’s interactive kiosks are all “CE” certified, indicating their conformity to the health, safety and environmental protection requirements of European standards. This certification is a guarantee for customers that the products are safe and comply with the most stringent European standards.

IPM France is also currently gaining “Sustainable IT accreditation to promote an energy-efficient, ethical and inclusive digital environment. This label highlights the company’s commitment to adopting environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible digital practices. “Sustainable IT” accreditation entails a series of actions to reduce the ecological footprint of digital activities, promote ethical technology use, adopt a policy of sustainable procurement in France and ensure the durability of the digital services and products offered by the company. These initiatives bolster IPM France’s credibility as a committed player when it comes to responsible sustainable development.

On a final note, IPM France holds the ecovadis social and environmental supplier assessment certification, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable practices. The annual ecovadis assessment strengthens our commitment to our stakeholders, by showing them that we are proactive in taking measures to reduce our environmental footprint and promote ethical design and sourcing practices.
